Founder Story

From Germany to India – A Vision by Mr. M.G. Somshekar

Recognizing the future of modern construction, Mr. M.G. Somshekar travelled to Germany to study precast construction technology in depth. After understanding its efficiency, structural integrity, and scalability, he brought this revolutionary system to India.

With a vision to modernize the construction industry, he introduced precast technology to government housing projects and successfully delivered over 1000 housing units, proving the reliability and effectiveness of this advanced system.

Today, Primecast continues this mission by bringing international construction standards to India.

He has led landmark projects across Karnataka and delivered scalable, sustainable housing solutions, earning recognition including the Vishwakarma and Prime Minister’s awards for innovative technologies.

He has led major developments including a 50,000 sq. ft. luxury villa in Sharjah, 175 Indira Canteens in Bangalore (100 days), and contributed to 5+ million sq. ft. of projects, including Government assignments like INCOIS Hyderabad, delivering quality with speed and precision.

Er. ConCroc Nagesh Puttaswamy is a distinguished civil engineer and concrete technologist with 40+ years of experience in concrete and construction. A CIDC Certified Professor of Practice and Professor at Alliance University, he serves as a technical advisor to leading industry firms and has contributed to critical infrastructure projects with the Border Roads Organisation under extreme conditions. Widely respected as a trainer and mentor, he is recognized for advancing quality concrete practices and received the ICI Bengaluru – UltraTech Award (2023) for Outstanding Concrete Engineer of Karnataka.
